Deichmann Boots Fail After Minimal Wear, Denied Warranty




I purchased boots for my child from the Deichmann online store during the April 2022 seasonal sale. Since it was the onset of summer, the boots remained unworn. In December 2022, I took them out of the box for my child to wear. After just a few wears, both boots had their soles come off simultaneously, on the same day, at the same hour. There were no stitches or proper adhesive on the boots, causing the complete detachment of the soles from both pairs. It was a nightmare as we were in an area (inside the Topkapı Palace) where there were no shoes or slippers available to purchase. My child had to walk barefoot for hours.
I sent the product to be examined through the Deichmann store at Akyaka Park AVM, but it was rejected. I appealed and sent it for examination again, only to receive another rejection. The authorized person who provided information over the phone accused me of forcibly removing the soles, claiming that they wouldn't come off under normal circumstances. So not only did we endure such distress, but we were also wrongly accused. Deichmann is a regret.
