I would like to file a formal complaint regarding an incident that took place on April 11, 2026, at approximately 11:00 a.m. at your DeFacto store in Antalya Airport. During my visit, I was assisted by a sales associate who was speaking Russian. From the beginning of our interaction, her tone was noticeably aggressive, unfriendly, and inappropriate when responding to my questions about sizes and product details. Although she did not insult me directly at first, her attitude was clearly unprofessional and unpleasant.
I calmly explained that the way she was speaking to me felt rude and inappropriate. Instead of improving the situation, her behavior became even worse. She continued responding aggressively to the point that I felt deeply uncomfortable and disrespected, and I asked her to stop speaking to me in that manner. When I said that I would report the incident to her manager, the situation escalated significantly.
She called me an “idiot.” Shortly afterward, when the manager approached, the employee escalated the situation even further and called me a “fascist” in front of the manager. I find this behavior completely unacceptable, especially in an international airport environment where professionalism, respect, and cultural sensitivity are essential. This kind of language is highly offensive and inappropriate under any circumstances and is absolutely incompatible with the standards I expect from a brand like DeFacto.
I was especially shocked by this incident given Turkey’s well-known reputation for hospitality and friendliness. This experience does not reflect those values and has left me with a very negative impression of your brand. I respectfully request that you investigate this matter thoroughly, identify the employee involved, and take appropriate action to prevent similar incidents from happening again. I also ask to be informed of the outcome of your investigation and of any measures taken in response to my complaint.
Best regards,
Tatiana Klyazh***
