Daikin AC Installation Error Caused Ongoing Refrigerant Leak Since 2022

The initial installation of my Daikin air conditioner was completed in 2022 at my address in Datça, Muğla. During the first installation, the mandatory vacuuming procedure was not performed, which caused a refrigerant leak and prevented the unit from operating efficiently from the very beginning, and this issue is still ongoing. Because the vacuum process—a technical requirement during installation—was skipped, air and moisture remained in the system, leading to corrosion (acid formation) in the copper pipes. Even though the unit is a closed-loop system, its cooling performance has dropped at the beginning of every season, and inspections have repeatedly shown a loss of refrigerant gas. Each time, instead of conducting a proper leak detection test, the system was temporarily addressed by simply adding gas, without identifying or fixing the root cause. The air conditioner is installed in a summer house and has very low total operating hours, yet it has malfunctioned every season. This clearly indicates that the problem is not due to user error, but entirely the result of improper installation and inadequate service. During this period, authorized service technicians visited five to six times and only refilled the gas, but never located the source of the leak or provided a permanent solution. Most recently, another service visit has been scheduled, and during this visit I am requesting that the exact location of the leak be definitively identified using a nitrogen pressure test and that the necessary action be taken accordingly. I also have WhatsApp message records documenting all communications with the authorized service regarding this issue. I purchased the air conditioner for approximately $440. Because of this problem, which I believe is entirely due to installation error, I am unable to use the air conditioner properly. I request that this case be evaluated as a defective product, that Daikin replace my air conditioner with a new one free of charge, and that the nitrogen test and any other required diagnostic or repair procedures be carried out without charging me any additional fees. Otherwise, I would like to state that I will apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and other relevant authorities.
