Daikin D2CND024 Combi Boiler Repeatedly Failed for Years
I purchased a Daikin D2CND024 combi boiler approximately four years ago, paying around 8,000–8,500 TL. From the very first day, this device has repeatedly malfunctioned and has never worked properly for a long, uninterrupted period. Over the past four years, I have had to call authorized service numerous times, and various parts have been replaced repeatedly. However, no permanent solution has ever been provided, and the combi has continued to break down again shortly after each intervention.
Most recently, my combi boiler has been completely out of order and non-functional since 01.12.2025. I live in Sarıyer, Istanbul, and there are two elderly individuals and a small child in my household. Because the combi is not working, our home has become extremely cold, and we are unable to use hot water. Due to the conditions caused by this situation, I have become ill and required hospital care within the last two days.
Authorized service personnel have repeatedly stated that the malfunction is not due to user error and that the combi boiler needs to be replaced. The service teams left our home saying they were “creating a replacement request,” but later we were informed that Daikin headquarters did not approve the replacement, that the fault was attributed to us, and that it was labeled as “customer error.” This directly contradicts the statements made by the authorized service technicians.
Additionally, we were told that all service records related to the combi over the last four years have been deleted from the system. I find it extremely concerning that years of service records can disappear in this manner, and I request that this issue be specifically investigated and clarified, as it directly affects the determination of my legal and consumer rights.
When I called again to create a new technical service request, I was told, “We will call you back,” but no one contacted us, and no new service request was actually entered into the system. Instead of resolving the problem, the company has completely stalled the process and left us alone with a non-functioning device and severe hardship.
At this point, I no longer want a product replacement. Due to the years of continuous malfunctions, the lack of a permanent solution, the deletion of service records, and the serious hardship experienced in a household with elderly individuals and a small child, I demand a full refund of the price I paid for the Daikin D2CND024 combi boiler.
