TCL Service Performed a Faulty AC Installation and Left My Outdoor Unit Unsafe



I purchased a TCL TAC-12CHSD/UG11I inverter 12,000 BTU A+++ air conditioner, and the installation was carried out on December 4, 2025, by a service company called Manisa **en So**tma at my home in Manisa. During the installation, no vacuuming was performed at all, and when I asked about it, I was told, “We don’t do vacuuming; we install it like this.” The wall opening they used for the piping was broken during installation, but they did not plaster or repair it in any way and simply left it as is.
The outdoor unit was mounted incorrectly, with one side tilted about 2% and the other about 3%, making it visibly uneven. While removing my old air conditioner, the fuse and electrical setup were already prepared, yet no proper electrical connection or control was performed. I was not given any receipt or document showing that the installation was completed, nor was I asked to sign anything or provided with any warranty paperwork.
I reported these issues to the service on December 8, 2025. I was told that the gas would be released again, vacuuming would be done, and the gas would be refilled. However, after so many mistakes during installation, my trust in this service has been completely shaken, and I do not feel safe with the current outdoor unit or the quality of the work performed.
Because of the incorrect installation and the unreliable service I received, I request that the outdoor unit be replaced entirely with a brand-new one and that the installation and all necessary checks be carried out by a different authorized service provider.

After purchasing the TCL brand TCL TAC-12CHSD/UG11I inverter 12,000 BTU A+++ air conditioner, it was installed by a service called Manisa Şen Soğutma on 04.12.2025. Due to my experiences during this installation process, I would like to submit my complaint to Bilkom A.Ş., the representative of TCL air conditioners in Turkey.
During the installation, the device was definitely not vacuumed, and when I asked about it, I was told, 'We don’t do vacuuming, we install it as is.' Although the area opened for the wall passage was broken, no plastering was done at all and the wall was left in this condition. The outdoor unit was also installed incorrectly; one side was about 2% and the other side about 3% slanted/bent, without proper alignment.
Although the fuse and electrical installation were ready when removing the old air conditioner, no connection was made to the new air conditioner, and the electrical installation was not checked either. I was not given any receipt or document indicating the installation was completed, nor was I asked to sign or given any documents related to the warranty. Later, when I made a request, I was told that the gas would be released again, vacuuming would be done, and gas would be refilled, which clearly shows how faulty the initial installation was.
Throughout this process, my trust in the service has been completely shattered and my air conditioner currently remains in this faulty installation condition. Due to the incorrect installation and unreliable service, I specifically request that the outdoor unit be replaced with a new one and that the installation be redone by a competent team in accordance with technical standards.
