On December 11, 2025, I flew with A Jet from Trabzon Airport to Ankara Esenboğa Airport on the 9:05 AM flight. Due to a delay, we landed in Ankara approximately 30 minutes late. Because we arrived late at night, I was unable to thoroughly inspect my luggage when I picked it up from the baggage carousel. While taking my suitcase out of the taxi, I noticed a serious crack near the bottom area where the wheels are located. I immediately submitted a damage claim through A Jet’s baggage damage page, including my PNR and ticket information for the flight. However, my claim was rejected on the grounds that no damage report was filed at the airport at the time, and the airline refused to accept any responsibility. Since it was late at night and I was tired, and it was dark, I could not notice the damage immediately after baggage claim; this damage clearly occurred after the flight. I do not accept that an airline that broke my carry-on suitcase can completely deny customer responsibility simply because a report was not filed instantly at the airport. I request that my damage report and flight details be reviewed, and that the repair of my damaged suitcase be covered, or that I be reasonably compensated so that my grievance can be resolved.
