On December 24, 2024, I purchased a Corby Zoom Ultimate CX017 Smart Drone and eagerly prepared it for use. After charging the batteries and installing fresh batteries in the remote, I took it to the beach for its first flight. To my disappointment, the drone failed to respond to any commands from the remote. Instead of following instructions, it veered in the opposite direction and flew farther out to sea.
Despite repeated attempts to recall the drone or direct it back to my location using the remote, all efforts were unsuccessful, and the drone was ultimately lost in the water. I’ve never faced such an issue with other drones before, and now I’m left with just the remote and no drone.
I am requesting compensation or a replacement for my loss from Corby Zoom. A product of this nature should not malfunction so catastrophically on its first use. Please address this matter urgently!
