I Face 8-Month Delay in Refund After China Southern Airlines Ticket Cancellation via eDreams

On December 14, 2024, I purchased two China Southern Airlines tickets from Istanbul to Hong Kong through eDreams TR. However, before our travel date, the airline canceled the flights.
Following the cancellation, I immediately requested a refund. Both eDreams and China Southern Airlines initially assured me that the refund would be processed within three months. Unfortunately, it has now been eight months, and I still have not received my money back.
The situation has become extremely frustrating because both companies keep passing responsibility back and forth.
eDreams claims they cannot process the refund because the payment is pending from the airline.
China Southern Airlines insists that since I purchased the tickets through eDreams, they cannot assist me directly.
To make matters worse, the customer service support from both companies has been extremely weak. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, I haven’t been able to speak with anyone who can actually resolve the issue.
At this point, I feel completely stuck between two companies, with no accountability from either side. I demand that my refund be processed immediately, and I expect a clear explanation for the unacceptable delay.
