China Southern Airlines Refused Free Return After Denied Entry to Seoul
I purchased a ticket from China Southern Airlines for a flight from Istanbul to Seoul with a transfer in China. However, upon arrival in Seoul, we were denied entry and forced to return. Instead of fulfilling their obligation to return us to our home country without charge—as international airline regulations require when entry is denied—China Southern tried to sell us a return ticket!
We were already under stress from the unexpected situation, and the airline offered zero assistance. They showed no concern for our legal rights or well-being and exploited our vulnerable position by attempting to charge us for a ticket home that should have been free.
This experience left us feeling helpless and mistreated. I am demanding a full refund for the original outbound flight and a complete reimbursement for the return tickets we were forced to purchase. China Southern’s handling of this situation was unprofessional and deeply disappointing. I expect immediate action to resolve this matter.
