I Experienced Brake Disc Issues on My Chery Tiggo 7 ProMax and Got No Real Support

It’s clear at this point that the Chery Tiggo 7 ProMax suffers from a chronic brake disc issue. This is not an isolated case—it’s becoming widely recognized among owners, and yet Chery Türkiye refuses to take proper responsibility. While the brand claims to be shedding the “cheap Chinese product” image, their lack of accountability is doing the opposite—it’s reinforcing that very perception.

Despite raising the issue, I’ve received no meaningful response or resolution. In some cases, there’s no response at all; and when there is, it's completely unhelpful, with no action taken to actually solve the mechanical problem.

This is unacceptable. A safety-critical issue like brake failure should be taken seriously, and a global brand must stand behind the quality of its vehicles. I’m calling on Chery Türkiye to address this defect publicly, provide proper support to affected customers, and issue a permanent fix.

If you’re going to position your brand as reliable and modern, you need to prove it with action—not empty promises. I expect a full explanation and an immediate solution to this recurring and dangerous problem.

There is no progress, they are not solution-oriented. I no longer expect a solution. Chery is a disappointment, stay away.

I was called by Chery headquarters and they confirmed that the problem would be fixed free of charge at Çetaş Eskişehir. I thank Chery Turkey. However, due to the incident I experienced at Çetaş Eskişehir, I stated that I would not go to that service and conveyed my thanks. Thank you Chery Turkey... Çetaş Eskişehir is a disappointment.
