I purchased my Chery Tiggo 7 about a year ago, and since then I have been facing persistent issues with the steering system. On rough, stabilized, or cobblestone-type roads, the steering wheel produces vibrations, knocking, and rattling noises. Once the vehicle exceeds 120 km/h, the steering becomes unstable, response feedback decreases, and there is a noticeable looseness, making it difficult to maintain proper control.
I reported these issues twice to the Sivas Oflazlar service center. The first time, I was told the steering shaft had been replaced. On my second visit, they stated that everything was “normal,” but the problem clearly remains. As someone with years of driving experience across different vehicles, I can confidently say this behavior is not normal. Other Chery users have also mentioned steering box issues that required replacement, which raises further concern.
I enjoy driving my Tiggo 7, but these steering problems are frustrating and concerning for safety. I request that the steering system—particularly the steering box—be thoroughly inspected and that the necessary repairs or replacements be made under warranty. I expect Chery to take this issue seriously and provide a clear, permanent solution.
