Carrefour Denied Bottle Deposit Refund
As an 11-year faithful consumer of CarrefourSA, specifically the Burhaniye İskele shop in Balıkesir, I recently made a purchase of ₺9,000. Among the products, I purchased beer. Today, I went to the store to return the beer bottles for a deposit refund. I was welcomed by an employee named R****, who flatly refused to take the bottles. Despite producing my receipts and indicating that I purchased the bottles from this particular retailer, I received a contemptuous response: "I have no space, I can't take them." "Go, leave them outside." Shocked by this attitude and contempt, I stated my desire to guarantee the bottles were handled correctly, but was instead told, "Go ahead, complain to the head office if you want." Such behavior by R**** is unworthy of a renowned business like CarrefourSA. I have filed a complaint with customer service, and if no action is taken, I will seek legal consequences.
