Koçtaş Refused Return Of Artema Nexa Round Faucet After Purchase
On October 26, 2025, I purchased an Artema Nexa Round kitchen faucet from the Koçtaş Ankamall store. I never used the product; I only opened its packaging. When I went to return it on October 28, 2025, with the invoice and all required documents, my return request was rejected on the grounds that “opened products cannot be returned.” The amount I paid for the purchase was ₺3,599, and my confirmation number is 198627. The main issue, however, was the extremely rude, inattentive, and disrespectful attitude of the store manager, cashier, faucet department staff, and three other employees during the return process. I was met with a scolding tone instead of assistance, even though I was simply trying to exercise my legal right, and no solution was offered. I also contacted Koçtaş customer service, but received the same response: “Opened products cannot be returned.” While I expected customer satisfaction from a well-known brand like Koçtaş, I encountered the exact opposite at the Ankamall store. Although the product is under warranty, I do not accept this unfair return refusal and the unpleasant experience I faced. I demand that my return be processed immediately, disciplinary action be taken against the responsible staff, and measures be implemented to prevent other customers from facing similar treatment. Otherwise, I will file an official complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee and the Ministry of Trade. I expect Koçtaş to take the necessary steps in this matter.
