CamScanner Charged Me $41 After a Free Trial Without Any Warning

On December 23, I started a 3-day free trial for the CamScanner app through the Google Play Store on my Android phone. Even though the app clearly stated that I would be notified when the trial period ended, I did not receive any in-app message or notification. Because of this, I did not realize that the trial had ended.
I only became aware of the situation when I saw that $41 was charged to my account on December 26. This charge was made without my knowledge or explicit consent. On the same day, I canceled my CamScanner subscription through Google Play and also submitted a complaint through the app requesting a refund. After that, I received an email from CamScanner.
Despite the clear statement that users would be informed at the end of the free trial, charging me without any prior warning is unacceptable. Since my subscription has been canceled, I request that the $41 charged to my card on December 26 be refunded to me as soon as possible.
