On October 23, 2024, I purchased two pairs of Art. LICO31 col. 019 Nero stockings from the Calzedonia store in Istanbul, spending ₺2,501.50. Shockingly, one pair tore while pulling it over my ankle, and the other ripped at the top after just one wear, rendering both unusable. I reported the issue to the Bağdat Caddesi store on November 23, 2024, but they refused to assist without the original receipt, despite digital advancements that make tracking purchases easy.
Who keeps physical receipts for a month? Many customers, like myself, buy products in bulk during sales and use them later. Am I expected to keep receipts for a year?
Even though my phone number is in their system and my purchase can be easily verified, they insisted on a receipt, demonstrating a lack of focus on customer satisfaction. This situation has left me questioning the product's quality and the brand's reliability. For a product priced at ₺849, I expected durability and a better customer experience.
I have attached screenshots from my bank confirming the transaction. I demand an exchange or refund for the defective products and urge Calzedonia to reconsider its outdated policies.
