I recently fell victim to a scam involving Budget Online Car Rental, orchestrated by individuals with the phone numbers 0501 7539** and 0554 806 3**. I reached out to inquire about a reservation on the Budget Online Car Rental website, and I contacted them via WhatsApp. A person named B*** told me I could rent a 2021 Model 1.5 Megane car for three days for a total of 3500₺. This included 1500₺ for the rental and a 2000₺ deposit, which I sent to the Ziraat account under the name G** Ç** with IBAN TR120***888000276031. Later, their accountant, U***, called me and demanded an additional 7500₺ for insurance. I expressed my desire to cancel the reservation, and U*** stated that there would be a 35% cancellation fee. Despite my intention to cancel, U*** proceeded to collect my credit card information. Fortunately, I did not receive an SMS, and he told me to call when I received it. When I attempted to cancel by calling, they blocked me on WhatsApp. I have recorded all of our conversations, and I am planning to submit a formal complaint to the authorities. These individuals are not only deceptive but also unscrupulous in their behavior. Beware of their tricks!
