Buddy.ai Charged Me Immediately Despite 7-Day Free Trial

I downloaded the Buddy.ai app to try the advertised 7-day free trial. As required, I entered my credit card information to activate the trial, expecting no charge until the period ended. However, the moment I submitted my card details, I was instantly charged without warning. This completely defeats the purpose of a “free trial.”

I only wanted to see how the app worked before committing. Unfortunately, the app didn’t even function properly—my child’s speech wasn’t recognized correctly, and she quickly lost interest. Within the first hour, I tried to cancel the subscription, but the app doesn’t offer any clear option for canceling or managing the subscription.

I feel misled and disappointed. I demand that my membership be canceled immediately and the amount charged be fully refunded. Charging users before a trial even begins is deceptive and unfair. Buddy.ai should be held accountable and must revise its subscription and cancellation processes to be transparent and user-friendly.
