Buddy.ai Charged Me Without Permission for Unwanted Subscription Renewal

I’m very upset to find out that Buddy.ai renewed our subscription without our knowledge or consent and withdrew money from our account without any notice. At no point did we authorize an automatic renewal, nor did we receive any warning or email informing us about the upcoming charge. This is unacceptable.

We only signed up initially to try the app for our daughter, but it did not prove useful or effective for her learning style. Because of that, we never intended to continue the membership. Yet, despite not activating or requesting a renewal, the company still went ahead and took payment.

We are requesting a full refund for the unauthorized charge. Additionally, we want the subscription fully canceled and confirmation that no further payments will be attempted. It’s extremely frustrating to be charged for something you don’t use and didn’t approve. Buddy.ai must respect user consent and clearly notify users before processing payments. We hope this matter is resolved promptly.
