I’ve been using my Brita pitcher responsibly, regularly replacing its filter as instructed, yet the bottom of the pitcher keeps turning green with algae. This area is inaccessible and impossible to clean properly. It’s unsettling to think we’ve been drinking water from a pitcher with algae growth.

The user manual provides no information on preventing or addressing this issue, leaving us questioning whether to discard the pitcher altogether. For a product marketed as ensuring safe drinking water, this experience is deeply disappointing. I expect Brita to address this problem immediately by offering a solution or a replacement. Clean water shouldn’t come with algae concerns—please resolve this promptly!
