In 2019, I outfitted my entire home with Bosch appliances, trusting in the brand’s reputation for quality. One of those appliances was the Bosch KGN76AW30N refrigerator. Recently, the interior LED light began flickering and eventually went out completely. This may sound minor, but it’s incredibly frustrating in daily use—especially from a premium product.
I called Bosch service, and they told me the repair would not be covered because the fridge is out of warranty and I’d need to pay a service fee. However, after reading several complaints online, I’ve learned that many customers with the same issue were contacted by Bosch headquarters and had their LED units replaced free of charge.
Clearly, this appears to be a recurring and well-known fault with this model. If Bosch is covering the replacement for others, I expect the same treatment.
Bosch, how will you resolve this? I chose your brand for reliability. I now ask you to stand by your reputation and fix this issue—without charging for something that shouldn’t fail in the first place. Please take action promptly.
