I bought a Bosch HTB12E4.8T midi oven from an authorized dealer in June 2025. Since the day I purchased it, the oven has never cooked food properly. No matter what I try, meals take hours and still remain undercooked. This problem has been consistent from the beginning and has made the product completely unreliable.
I contacted Bosch customer service for support, but I was not informed in advance about any service fees. When the technicians arrived, they simply said the oven was working and then demanded ₺700 as a service charge. I explained that the issue was not whether the oven turned on but that it does not cook properly. I even suggested we place food inside and test it together, but they refused, saying they had no time. How can they judge cooking performance without actually testing it?
The technicians then claimed that if I preheated the oven for 20–30 minutes at 250 degrees, it would cook fine. But that is not reasonable—my previous Vestel oven cooked meatballs in 15 minutes, while this Bosch model could not do it in one hour. I even read that other customers reported similar issues with this exact model, which makes me think it is a faulty product line.
I am very disappointed that a brand like Bosch not only sells an appliance with such poor performance but also fails to provide effective after-sales support. I want this oven to be returned or replaced with a proper model. Customers should not have to waste money on expensive cleaning products, long preheating times, or repairs that do not solve the problem. I expect Bosch to handle this quickly and fairly.
