I have been using my Bosch dishwasher for 18 months, and now I have noticed rust forming on the wire of the upper rack. When I contacted customer service, they said they would inspect it but requested an extra service fee just to check the issue.
Later, when I offered to send photos instead, they agreed. After 7 days of reviewing the images, they claimed it was due to user error. I am baffled—how could I have caused the rack to rust? All I do is place glasses on it. What exactly could I have done to damage a supposedly high-quality dishwasher rack?
Their response was a flat-out refusal to help, and when I mentioned filing a complaint, they simply said, "You will hear from us again." Is this Bosch's idea of customer service? Am I expected to take this to the Consumer Arbitration Board just to get a resolution?
I also own Dyson products, and when one of their brush heads broke (also due to "user error"), they replaced it completely free of charge. Meanwhile, Bosch, with an ongoing warranty, refuses to offer any meaningful support.
I regret trusting Bosch for all my household appliances. Their customer service is completely inadequate, and I would not recommend them to anyone based on this experience. My Bosch case number: 3007028. I demand a proper resolution!
