I booked a 4-night stay at M Hotel Makkah by Millennium through Booking.com from March 27 to March 31, for 3 guests. Since breakfast wasn’t included, I paid extra in advance to ensure it would be available for all of us—bringing the total to a hefty ₺40,632.71.
But when we got to the hotel, we were told that only one person was eligible for breakfast because the booking was “made under one name.” This makes zero sense. We had a confirmed reservation for three people, and all of us were staying in the same room. Why wouldn’t breakfast be available for all guests as paid?
I immediately contacted Booking.com and explained the situation. Unfortunately, nothing was done, and no resolution was offered. We were treated poorly at the hotel, and despite paying for breakfast, we didn’t use the dining service at all due to this absurd restriction.
I’m demanding a refund for the breakfast charge and asking Booking.com to step up and support its customers when hotels behave unfairly. This experience was unacceptable and extremely disappointing.
