I Face Refund Delay After Bad Stay at City Center Hotel Saranda on Booking.com

Between August 4 and August 10, I booked a stay at City Center Hotel in Saranda, Albania through Booking.com under reservation number 5197**4202. I paid €352 upfront for the reservation. However, when I checked in, I was shocked by the poor hygiene and low quality of the hotel. The room was extremely dirty, and the overall conditions did not match the standards promised on the platform. Because of this, I had no choice but to leave the hotel one day early on August 9.

To make matters worse, the hotel receptionist marked my reservation as “canceled” to prevent me from leaving a negative review. I have both documents from my stay and written communication from the hotel to prove this manipulation. Despite providing evidence, Booking.com has refused to step in. They did not reactivate my reservation record and ignored all of my support requests, leaving me completely without help.

I am demanding a full refund of the €352 I paid and immediate corrective action. Booking.com must also reconsider its cooperation with hotels that deceive customers and damage trust. I expect my refund to be processed without further delay and an explanation provided for their lack of support.
