I booked a non-refundable reservation at Astoria Boutique Suites in Budapest through Booking.com for August 15, 2025. After completing the booking, I received a confirmation message. However, only a few hours later, I was surprised to get another message stating that my reservation would be canceled unless I re-entered my details within eight hours. I clicked the link provided and followed the instructions.
During this process, my card was charged three separate times, resulting in a total payment of €603 instead of the original single charge. I used a virtual card for these payments, and I have all receipts clearly showing the transactions.
When I attempted to contact customer service by phone, I was left waiting for minutes without ever being connected. I also sent multiple written messages but received no response. At this point, Booking.com has completely failed to address my issue or provide assistance.
I am not asking for a full refund of my stay — I only demand that the two extra charges, totaling €402, be refunded to me immediately. I expect urgent support and resolution from Booking.com regarding this matter.
