Booking.com Charged Me $205.44 for a Canceled Hotel Stay & Won’t Issue a Refund




Hello, I booked a 5-night stay at Jazz Makadi Saraya Hotel in Egypt through Booking.com for check-in on January 18 and paid with my credit card. Later, they canceled my reservation due to a supposed card issue and charged me $205.44. Since I still needed a room, I rebooked the same hotel and paid again.
When I arrived at the hotel, I requested a refund for the $205.44 charge, but they told me they were waiting for a waiver approval from Booking.com. However, no matter how many times we tried, we never received approval from Booking.com for the refund.
Booking.com, why am I being charged for a canceled stay? I demand an immediate refund for the incorrect charge. This must be resolved now!
