I Booked on Booking.com But Was Told the Price Was Wrong and My Reservation Canceled

I made a same-day reservation through Booking.com and, to confirm the details, I called the property directly. To my surprise, they told me the price listed on the site wasn’t accurate and said they would cancel my booking.

Not only was this incredibly unprofessional, but I also couldn’t reach anyone from Booking.com to properly address the issue. I paid for the reservation, and now I have no idea when or if my money (₺) will be refunded.

How is it my fault that the price wasn’t updated? That’s the platform’s and property’s responsibility. If I hadn’t called, would I have shown up with six people only to be told it was invalid on the spot? That’s completely unacceptable.
