Booking.com Suspended My Account & Charged Me Unauthorized 4500₺


My last Booking.com reservation was at Opera Boutique Hotel, Tbilisi from December 19-21, 2024. I completed my stay without any issues and paid directly at the hotel using my card.
However, shortly after, my Booking.com account was suspended without explanation, and I noticed an unauthorized charge of 305.82 GEL (4500₺) on my credit card.
🔹 Booking.com refuses to explain why my account was suspended.
🔹 The transaction appears under "Booking.com BV" on my bank statement.
🔹 The hotel confirmed that they did not charge me any additional fees.
🔹 Booking.com customer support is completely unhelpful and ignores my complaints.
I have sent multiple emails and called customer service numerous times, but no solution has been offered. Even though this is clearly an unauthorized charge, Booking.com refuses to provide any explanation or support.
This is a serious security issue and a violation of consumer rights. If Booking.com does not resolve this issue immediately, I will pursue legal action and escalate the matter to national consumer protection agencies.
