I am a Booking.com customer from the UK, and I am writing regarding reservation number 6864627421 and the recent “security breach” you emailed me about on 12 April. The message has caused serious concern because I have not received any clear, concrete information about what exactly has been accessed or stolen. My main question is very simple, yet it remains unanswered: have my credit or debit card details been accessed as part of this incident, or not? I find it unacceptable that this crucial information is not clearly stated anywhere in your communication or support channels. Instead of being able to speak to a real person and obtain a straightforward answer, I am being forced to deal with automated systems and AI responses, which do not address my specific concern. As a customer whose personal and payment details are stored with you, I have the right to know exactly what information has been compromised and what risks I am exposed to. I expect a clear, written statement about what data relating to my account and reservation 6864627421 has been affected, and a direct answer on whether any of my credit or debit card details have been accessed, copied, or misused. I request that Booking.com provide this information without generic templates or automated responses, and that you offer appropriate guidance and support based on the actual scope of this breach.
