Booking.com Car Rental Issue – Payless Failed to Refund My €400 Deposit

Between September 5–12, 2025, I rented a car through Booking.com from Payless at Podgorica Airport (Reservation No: 671493738). I returned the vehicle on September 12 without any issues, and the return inspection report confirmed that the car had no damage or missing items. I received the official return slip, which clearly stated that everything was in order.
When I rented the car, I paid a €400 deposit. According to Booking.com’s policy, the deposit was supposed to be refunded within 28 days after the car’s return, meaning no later than October 10, 2025. However, it has now been 35 days, and I still have not received my €400 refund.
This was my first car rental experience, and the situation has caused me significant inconvenience and frustration. I request that my €400 deposit be refunded immediately and that an explanation be provided for the delay.
