Booking.com Car Rental Issue – Denied Car and No Refund
I booked a car through Booking.com for Gaziantep, and the rental was assigned to Çizgi Rent A Car. They confirmed my reservation, and on October 23, they picked me and my friend up from the airport. However, when we arrived at their office, they asked for my passport. I explained that I’m a Turkish citizen, and suddenly they refused to provide the car, saying I needed either dual citizenship or government employment.
After a long argument, I requested a refund, but they claimed the money wasn’t with them, and that Booking.com would handle the refund. Despite this, Booking.com still shows my reservation as active, and Çizgi Rent A Car didn’t even mark the car as undelivered. As of now, I’ve neither received the car nor a refund. I urgently request that Booking.com resolves this issue by processing my refund.
