Booking.com cancellation failed due to a technical error — requesting fee-free cancellation

I made a car rental reservation for an SUV with Enterprise through Booking.com for the period of July 1–2 in Auburn, United States. My reservation number is 5241255665, and the total booking amount is 500 USD. On July 8, I made several attempts to cancel the reservation, but every attempt failed due to a persistent technical error on the Booking.com service. Despite following the standard online cancellation process correctly, I was unable to complete the cancellation because of this system malfunction. This issue was entirely caused by a technical problem beyond my control and was not the result of any mistake or omission on my part. Therefore, I kindly request that my reservation be cancelled in full without any cancellation fees or other charges. I also ask that the cancellation be processed as soon as possible and that I receive written confirmation that the reservation has been fully cancelled and that no charges will be applied.
