I am disappointed to report that the lower grille beneath the windshield wipers on my 2017 BMW 1.16d has experienced severe deformation. The seal has completely hardened, leading to cracking and shedding, which is highly unexpected for a vehicle from a premium brand like BMW. In comparison, I’ve owned an Audi for a longer time without facing any such issues with part quality. It’s frustrating to see this level of deterioration in a BMW, which I believed would have higher durability standards.
