I had an accident with my BMW 5.20 in rainy weather on November 20, 2023 in Turkey. While traveling at a speed of 100 km per hour, the vehicle left the road and crashed into the barriers 3 times then stopped. Even though there were serious damage to the vehicle, not a single airbag was desployed. I am very disappointed and shocked. See the photos and please tell me how it is possible that these features built in the car to save the people in the car when there is an emergency just failed so!!
The car was totaled. Yes, even though the airbag didn't deploy, the car is totaled! God looked out for us, and we had a stroke of luck, so nothing happened to us. Despite the car being insured, I suffered a significant financial loss due to it being written off. Unfortunately, there's no response from BMW authorities! Now I need to buy a new car.
After this experience, why should I buy a BMW again as an 8-year BMW user? I would be pleased if BMW officials would kindly get in touch. At the very least, please stand behind your brand's vehicles to compensate for my financial loss.
