On August 2, 2025, at around 14:00, I logged into my Bitexen account and was shocked to see that all of my cryptocurrency balances had been reset to zero. I had not accessed my account for several months prior to this, so there were no recent activities from my side. Strangely, the list of coins in my account still appears, but each one now shows a zero balance.
I have not made any transactions, and when I checked my transaction history, there were no unauthorized movements or unfamiliar activities recorded. My account is also protected with two-factor authentication (2FA), so I find it unacceptable that my balances could simply disappear without explanation.
I request that Bitexen immediately investigate this issue, restore my missing balances, and provide a clear explanation of how such an incident could occur despite 2FA protection. Users must be able to trust that their holdings will remain safe and accessible at all times.
