BiTaksi Failed to Apply First Ride Promotion
On January 22, 2026, between approximately 7:30–8:00 p.m., I took a BiTaksi ride from Bakırköy to Bahçelievler. I downloaded the app and took my first ride because I had seen a promotion advertised as “First ride for $0, up to $6.” Based on this promotion, I completed my first trip.
However, once the ride ended, no discount was applied, and I paid the full fare of approximately $10. I could not find this promotion anywhere in the app, and after the ride, there was no indication of any campaign or discount being applied.
Under the first-ride promotion, I expected the portion of the fare up to $6 to be charged as $0, with only the remaining amount charged normally. In short, I expected the promotional discount to be reflected in my fare.
I am requesting that BiTaksi clearly explain the first-ride promotion. If this promotion was valid, I am asking for a refund of the difference caused by the discount not being applied to my ride.
