Bitaksi Driver Overcharged Us and Took a Longer Route from SAW Airport

On July 1st at around 11:00 p.m., we used Bitaksi to take a taxi from Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) to Moxy Istanbul. Before the ride, the Bitaksi app showed an estimated fare of around ₺2,000 but at the end of the trip the driver demanded ₺4,750 which is almost double the indicated amount. The taxi plate number was 34 T** 17. During the ride, the driver deliberately chose a longer route, and at the end of the journey he started to behave in a threatening manner when we questioned the fare. Because it was late at night and we felt unsafe due to his attitude and the overall conditions, we were pressured into paying the ₺4,750 he requested. After the ride, I reported this situation through the Bitaksi in‑app support and requested a correction of the fare, but so far I have not received any response or refund. I expect Bitaksi to urgently review this trip, compare it with the app estimate and the correct route, and refund the unfairly charged fare difference to my account as soon as possible. I also request that necessary action be taken regarding the driver so that other passengers do not experience similar pressure or safety concerns.
