I’m a new streamer on Bigo, and during the livestream I started today, my friend and I were joking around and I used the phrase “you’re like h***.” Shortly after that conversation, my account was shut down with no detailed explanation—only a message saying I violated the rules.
I submitted an appeal through the app and received this message: “Application is submitted successfully. It will be proceed within 3 days. Receipt Number【881546***】” However, despite submitting the appeal, I never received any response. I didn’t get any additional email or SMS either, and my application ends up getting canceled. I want to know exactly what I did so I can correct myself, but being left completely in the dark is causing me harm.
I don’t believe this joke between my friend and me should be treated as political speech that harms Bigo or as a serious violation. For this reason, I request a detailed review of my account, a reconsideration of the penalty, and, if possible, the reopening of my streamer account. If the account will not be reinstated, I want a clear, written explanation of which rule I violated and how.
