I was a new broadcaster on Bigo Live with the username Ksultan**, and I had only been streaming for about a week. Even though I was new, I had already started earning income from my broadcasts. However, a few days ago, I was suddenly banned from the platform because I mistakenly used the word “harassment” during a stream.
There was absolutely no bad intention on my part—it was simply a misunderstanding. During the live session, I mentioned “18-year-old girls,” and some viewers assumed I was under 18 myself. This misunderstanding led to my account being permanently flagged.
Shockingly, the ban duration shows as 10 years, which is extremely excessive. Since then, I have been unable to access my account, start broadcasts, or even log in properly. The app only displays a message that I have been banned, along with instructions to appeal. I submitted an appeal, but I never received a response. I also contacted Bigo Live via Instagram; they replied once, but afterward, I was ignored. There is no official customer service phone number I can reach either.
I even tried downloading the Bigo Live Lite app and logging in with a different account, but I was only able to watch streams—not broadcast. This situation prevents me from working as a broadcaster and causes significant financial and personal hardship.
I request that my account be re-reviewed, that my 10-year ban be lifted, and that this misunderstanding be corrected as soon as possible.
