Beymen Denied the Clear Defect in My Premiata Shoes and Refused a Return

There is a clear manufacturing defect in a pair of Premiata shoes purchased from Beymen, yet it’s being denied. I own about nine pairs of Premiata shoes, all bought either directly from Beymen stores or from the Premiata store in İstinyePark Istanbul through Beymen’s partnership. However, only one pair—clearly visible in the attached images—has an issue where the tongue of the right shoe folds inward. When worn, it completely collapses inside and causes significant discomfort. None of my other Premiata pairs have this problem. I showed the shoes to several cobblers, all of whom confirmed it was a manufacturing defect and said the issue couldn't be fixed, advising me to return the product. I sent the shoes for inspection via Beymen's Armada store. But the response I received claimed “no defect was found” and indicated that the inspection was done without even untying the laces. This kind of reply is both disrespectful to the customer and damaging to the reputation of the brand. It is unacceptable for such an obvious defect to be dismissed so casually—this does not align with the standards of Beymen or the brands it represents. The defect is clearly visible, and I’ve provided photos. As a customer, I feel neglected and unfairly treated. What I expect from Beymen is: • A fair and proper re-evaluation of the product • Acknowledgment of the defect and either a refund or an exchange If not, this experience will bring an end to my long-standing loyalty as a customer.
