During my Istanbul flight with Azimuth Airlines, I was informed at the airport that only Rubles were accepted for baggage payment. Lacking sufficient Rubles and with my card not being accepted, I had to pay in Dollars. However, no change was provided.
Despite online information stating 3700 Rubles for 23 kg baggage, I was charged 8400 Rubles (equivalent to $100) and not given change. This left me feeling deeply frustrated. After accepting my Dollars, the attendant issued a receipt in Rubles. Furthermore, despite the flight scheduled for 16:20 and boarding at 16:00, we were informed of a delay at 16:25, extending to 16:50. However, the departure board still displayed 'on time'.
Additionally, there was a noticeable lack of respect and assistance at the airport; there was no one to provide assistance, no English-speaking staff, and responses were given with 'This is Russia, speak Russian'.
