I purchased Argivit Smart syrup yesterday from Özlem Pharmacy in Bozyaka, İzmir, paying ₺750 for the product. The expiration date on the bottle is 09.2026, so it should still be safe to use. However, after giving it to my child, he immediately complained that the taste was strange and unpleasant. Since we have used Argivit Smart multiple times before, I knew something was not right with this batch.
When I inspected the bottle closely, I noticed black particles floating inside the syrup. This clearly indicates a quality or contamination issue. Considering this is a children’s supplement, such a defect is unacceptable and has seriously damaged my trust in the brand. While my child has not shown any immediate health problems, I am very concerned about possible risks and side effects.
The barcode number of the product is 8682408684031. Tomorrow, I will return the bottle to the pharmacy. I demand that Argivit immediately recall and replace this defective product, issue a full refund of ₺750, and provide a clear explanation of how such a compromised batch reached consumers. I expect urgent action to prevent other families from facing the same problem.
