Apple Store - Refund Request Due to Unfair In-App Pricing

Dear Apple Support, An in-app purchase of approximately ₺1,000 was made in a game I downloaded from the Apple Store for my child. However, I discovered that the exact same products within the same game are offered on the Android platform at nearly one-fourth of the price. This is not just a price difference, but a clear case of deceptive and unfair pricing, bordering on price gouging. Apple’s pricing policy or commission structure cannot reasonably explain such a vast discrepancy. Therefore, I formally request a full refund for this purchase. This is not merely a financial matter—it is an ethical issue and a potential violation of consumer rights. I kindly ask for a callback regarding this issue. Should Apple fail to take appropriate action, I will proceed to file formal complaints with the following institutions in Turkey: • Ministry of Trade • Presidential Communication Center • Consumer Arbitration Committee. I kindly request this issue be resolved promptly.
