The headband on my Anker Soundcore Q45 headphones has developed cracks, and the issue is clearly a design flaw. I reached out to Anker’s authorized distributor and service center in Turkey, submitted a service request online, and even called their support line. Their response? Even with a valid invoice, the issue is not covered under warranty.
I then asked if I could pay for a repair, but they told me it cannot be fixed. Instead, they offered me a “solution” – pay 3,250₺ for a replacement unit! How does a 4,000₺ premium headset become unusable because of a weak plastic component?
The headband material is clearly faulty and unable to withstand regular use. Rather than acknowledging their poor design, they blame the user. I even tried gluing the cracked parts myself, but since it’s a moving part, the fix doesn’t hold.
Anker, I demand a proper solution! You cannot sell high-end headphones with such a fundamental design flaw and then refuse to take responsibility. Ignoring this issue and forcing customers to buy a new unit is unacceptable. Fix your product, or stop misleading buyers!
