Amazon Won’t Process My Refund for Pirantech Steam Cleaner Return After Two Months
I attempted to return the Pirantech steam cleaner I purchased from the Amazon app on 14.06.2024 because I decided not to keep it. I created a return request, scheduled a courier to pick up the item from my address per Amazon's instructions, and handed over the product. Later, I contacted the courier branch and was informed that the return code was incorrect. When I reached out to Amazon about this issue, they stated that the seller needed to provide the return code. The seller, however, said he didn’t know how to provide it. After several calls back and forth between Amazon and Piranlar e-commerce, I finally managed to obtain the code. Throughout this process, I opened a warranty claim with Amazon, but they rejected it due to the delay. My product ended up sitting at the courier branch for two to three weeks because of Piranlar's lack of e-commerce knowledge and the distance I live from the branch. Finally, two months after the initial return request, Piranlar informed me through the Amazon app that they had received the product. However, my refund still hasn’t been processed. Each time I called Amazon, they assured me that they had contacted the seller. Weeks passed with no progress, so I tracked down Piranlar’s direct contact number myself. When I spoke with them, Piranlar e-commerce said they no longer sell on Amazon, meaning I’d been waiting for a refund in vain. Piranlar claimed they had already refunded Amazon, but Amazon denied this, stating that if Piranlar had issued the refund, it would have been credited to my account directly. Despite my repeated efforts, I am still without my refund, even though the product was returned without issue.
