Amazon Sent Me the Wrong Xiaomi Humidifier Model and Refused a Price Adjustment



On September 8, 2024, I purchased a Xiaomi Smart Humidifier 2 (order number 407-3497645-9673166) from Amazon.com.tr. However, I received the Xiaomi Humidifier 2 Lite model instead, which lacks the remote access feature of the model I ordered. When I contacted Amazon.com.tr on October 28, 2024, they admitted that the catalog had been incorrectly labeled due to their error and offered me a refund if I returned the product. I requested an exchange for the correct model, but they said this wasn’t possible. The product was discounted at the time of my purchase, so now there’s a significant difference between the current price and what I originally paid. Despite acknowledging their mistake, Amazon.com.tr won’t adjust for the price difference. I’m attaching evidence and visuals to support this complaint. This experience highlights Amazon.com.tr’s misleading and faulty sales practices, which I believe need addressing.
