Amazon Return Process Made Me Feel Unsafe and Unwanted
On May 11, I purchased a pair of pants through Amazon. The quality of the product was extremely poor considering the amount I paid, and the pants were also much shorter than expected. Because of this, I requested a return and received a return code for the item.
While the return process was still ongoing, I received a message stating that my account could be suspended. I find it unnecessary and disturbing to receive such a warning while simply exercising my normal return rights. Seeing what felt like a threatening statement regarding my account, despite following the standard return process, made me feel uncomfortable and insecure as a customer.
What I expect from Amazon is to accept the return of this product without any issues and then completely close my account. I no longer want to use Amazon, and I request that my account be permanently closed in line with my own request, without any negative records, penalties, or restrictions being placed against my account during this process.
