I have Allianz Supplementary Health Insurance, which gives me a free check-up service. I asked for an appointment to use this benefit in March, but even though three months have passed, I haven't heard back. When I called in April and June, I was told that they were having problems with their system and couldn't get to the old information, but that they would get back to me. But now that it's July, I still haven't heard from them. They keep telling me that someone from the main office will call me. During this time, it was time to renew our policy, so we did just that. Now, without any shame, they want us to pay for the checkup with the new policy. We asked for the check-up while our old policy was still in effect, but they didn't answer. Now, they are trying to blame us for what they did wrong. Read this if you are thinking about getting insurance from Allianz.
