I purchased a 2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale Veloce in March 2023. In March 2024, while my car was parked in a garage, the sunroof suddenly exploded for no apparent reason. When I contacted Alfa Romeo’s service center, they claimed this had never happened before, said they were consulting Italy, and refused to cover it under warranty.
I had no choice but to use my insurance to cover the repair, which resulted in a ₺182,000 accident record on my vehicle.
A few days ago, another major issue occurred—my car’s battery completely drained for no reason, leaving me stranded. The service did not replace the battery; instead, they simply charged it for 24 hours. Upon further inspection, they found that the sunroof motor—which was installed by the service center after the explosion—was defective and needed replacement.
This is my third Alfa Romeo, but after these repeated failures and poor service, I will never purchase or recommend this brand again. I also found similar complaints from other owners. Alfa Romeo, take responsibility for your vehicles and honor your warranties!
