Airbnb Reservation Cancellation Denied – No Refund Despite Immediate Cancellation
I recently booked a reservation through my friend's Airbnb account. The listing didn’t specify that we’d be sharing the space with others, so we didn’t notice. However, once we realized we would have to stay with someone else, we decided to cancel the reservation. The issue is that the host selected an option where no refunds are allowed, even though we didn’t stay at the property. We canceled the booking just 30 minutes after confirming, yet the host refuses to issue a refund. Despite offering to cover any potential loss the host might face, they still won’t refund us. We need Airbnb to step in and resolve this situation. We demand a refund and proper support from the company!
